A choice to see the bright side of a situation and the little baseball player.

What the Little Baseball Player teaches us:

A little boys picks up his baseball and bat and heads to his back yard.  The little boys tells himself, “I’m the best here in the world.”  He strikes out, strike 1.  The little boy tells himself again, “I’m the best here in the world.”  Strike 2.  The little boys continues to tell himself, “I’m the best here in the world.”  Strike 3.  Then the little boy tells himself, “I’m the best pitcher here in the world!”

Sometimes we do not always reach our goals the first, second, or third time we try, but life is all about perspective.  This little boy kept trying and he told himself he was the best in the world even after he failed.  It is a great quality to have a mental mind set to be able to see the positive things in life instead of the negative.

The little boy teaches us to keep trying to reach our goals: academic, personal, professional.  If we have a positive mindset, we will accomplish them.
